Anti-Inflammatory Creams?

Has anyone used the creams or gels for these kinds of muscle pains? I've only tried it for overnight and while the "heating" sensation felt good at the time, I can't really say that any of it actually helped my wrist.

Beware if you try these, though... especially if you're an eye-rubber like I am... that stuff burns like fire in an eye even if you *think* you washed it all off very carefully.

My cousin, who is a touch typist, recommended anti inflamatory creams to me, she swore by them. Personally though, I try not use to medication too much, only on really bad days when I have severe wrist pain do I use medication.

I'd imagine the proper cream could have a similar affect "deep heat" does for back pain? But if your hands get so bad you need a cream to sort your problems, i would recommend not doing what you do, at least temporarily.

We have a lot of those anti-inflammatory and pain-killing creams and I use them sometimes together with some light massage. They do offer some relief albeit only temporary. RSI pain sensation are probably cause by worn muscles and ligaments that needs some rest and recuperation so I think resorting frequently to pain medications and creams can be detrimental in the long run.

i have used a spray named volini but it gives relief for lets say half an hour. after that the unbearable pain is back.can be used only when you have some really important work to do and you dont want to think about the pain. on long term basis its useless.
